BloFin connection
How do I get my BloFin API key? (about 3 minutes)
Easiest on a computer at blofin.com. You'll end up with 3 things to paste below: an API key, a secret, and a passphrase you make up.
Log in to your BloFin account on blofin.com.
Open API Management: click your profile icon (top right) and choose API.
Click Create API Key.
Pick the key type: choose the general/custom option (shown as API Transaction). Don't use "Connect to Third-Party Applications"; Knight Bot isn't in BloFin's app list.
Name itKnightBot. BloFin only allows letters, numbers and underscores, so leave out the space.
Permissions: leave Read on and tick Trade. Never tick Transfer or Withdraw. Knight Bot doesn't need them and will refuse keys that have them.
Passphrase: make one up and write it down. It's case-sensitive, and it's the 3rd box below. BloFin can't show it to you again.
IP address: in the IP field, add our server's IP:
38.247.165.96
This means the key only works from Knight Bot's server. Keys without an IP also expire after 90 days.
Click Next and enter the email code and/or authenticator (2FA) code BloFin asks for. Check the summary and Confirm.
Copy the API key and secret right away, e.g. into a note. The secret is shown only once. If you lose it, delete the key and make a new one.
Paste the API key, secret and passphrase into the boxes below, tick the trade-only box, and click Verify & save.
Fund your futures account: the bot trades from BloFin's Futures account, not Funding. On BloFin, use Transfer to move USDT from Funding to Futures (at least $10; more gives the bot room to trade).
Hedge or one-way mode? Doesn't matter. Knight Bot checks your account's position mode and works with either, so leave it as it is.
Trouble?
"Wrong passphrase" / signature or login error: the passphrase is case-sensitive and must be exactly what you typed on BloFin. Check for extra spaces when pasting. If you're not sure, delete the key and create a new one.
IP not allowed / rejected: make sure the key's IP list has 38.247.165.96 exactly, or edit the key on BloFin and add it.
"Read-only" / can't place orders: the key is missing the Trade permission. Edit it on BloFin or create a new one with Trade ticked.
Balance shows $0: your USDT is probably in Funding. Transfer it to Futures on BloFin; it shows up here within a minute.
